Our Story
Established over 25 years ago, ABL started as a family-owned accident repair business reaching 4 sites in 2011. In 2015 the 1 Touch Repair Group was created to offer an alternate solution to the industry, moving away from large sites, incorporating the ‘repair over replace’ ethos that was at the heart of ABL, providing innovative, technical centers to attract the leading talent in the industry.
This grew quickly from 2 sites in 2015 to 9 sites by the end of 2020. At the end of 2020, backed by Private Equity investment, ABL and 1 Touch Repair finally became ABL 1 Touch. Now in 2023 we have 23 sites with further plans for growth over the coming years.
ABL 1 Touch takes pride in providing industry leading customer journeys by ensuring we promote a culture throughout the business that attracts and retains the best talent.
Our Values
At ABL 1 Touch, we take great pride in our company values, and incorporate them into everything we do. Our values were rebranded four years ago, as part of a wider project where a culture team was put together to look at how the working environment could be improved for employees.
It was important to ensure everyone in the business was aiming for the same goal, therefore the culture team engaged with all employees with surveys and focus groups to find out their honest views of the business. As part of the work, adjectives were taken from employee submissions that described their feelings towards the company and from this emerged three words which became our company values, evolving completely from our employees, which are engrained into the business and shapes everything that we do on a daily basis.

Values Awards
We understand how important it is to recognise employees and celebrate their commitment. We run annual ABL 1 Touch Values Awards, where the winners are voted for by their peers, with one person winning an outstanding contribution to living our values.
The undisputed winner of the outstanding contribution to living our values this year was John Star
Our Socials
In “normal” times we love interacting in social or charitable events. Supporting colleagues in an event or spending time outside of work enhances the working culture and collaboration, not to mention it’s so much fun!!!
Our Accreditations
It’s important to us that our accreditations are not just tick box exercises and that we truly believe in the processes to achieve our exacting standards.
As well as having the BSi Kitemark at our sites we have recently become one of the first collision repair groups in our industry to achieve Carbon Neutrality at one of our sites and awarded PAS 2060. We’re currently executing a group wide roll out with a view to achieving this standard across the group.
